Our broadband and mobile comparison tables are powered by the Stickee API. Stickee’s feeds underpin telecoms price comparison across several of the UK’s major comparison websites, so the deals you see on Switchity come from the same live, verified data those sites work from.
The Energy Shop
Our energy comparison and switching service is delivered in partnership with The Energy Shop, an independent UK platform operating since 2003. The Energy Shop is accredited under the Ofgem Confidence Code, the official UK scheme that holds energy comparison services to standards for accuracy, impartiality and consumer protection.
Ecologi
Our environmental commitment is delivered in partnership with Ecologi, a UK-based climate action platform that funds verified reforestation and carbon-reduction projects worldwide. A share of every commission Switchity earns is contributed to Ecologi.

You're in control of how the deals are ranked
Comparison engines vary in how they order results by default. Switchity uses the Stickee engine that powers many of the UK’s largest comparison sites, layered with three things built to help you find true best value for your household:
- Five sort options on every comparison table: most popular, monthly cost (low to high), effective monthly cost (low to high), contract length (low to high), and speed (high to low). Effective monthly cost is the one we’d point you to for true value, since it averages the full contract cost (including any reward, setup fee, and contract length) into a single comparable figure.
- A three-way side-by-side comparison tool, unique among the UK’s major comparison sites, that lets you pick any three deals from the table and stack them next to each other across every spec: speed, contract length, set-up cost, rewards, price rises and total contract value.
- Honest “best of” callouts on those comparisons (cheapest, best value, fastest, lowest set-up, best reward) calculated purely from the three deals you chose. Pick your three, and the maths tells you which one wins on each metric, with no algorithm or commission in the calculation.
You pick which deals to compare. We do the maths so you can see which one actually wins on what.
We show the full cost, not just the headline price
Whatever you’re comparing, the monthly price you see first rarely tells the full story. Switchity’s tables surface the costs and contract terms that actually shape what you’ll pay.
Our content is researched, not invented
Every guide and provider page on Switchity is grounded in primary sources: live deal data from our regulated partners, the providers’ own published terms, Ofcom and Ofgem regulatory documents, and verified customer signals like Trustpilot scores and Ofcom complaints data. If we can’t back a claim with a citation, we don’t publish it.
We're honest about what providers do well, and what they don't
Every provider review covers genuine pros and cons. If a provider has a poor Ofcom complaints record, weak customer service, or aggressive price-rise terms, we say so, even when that provider is one of our commercial partners. A comparison site that softens every weakness isn’t comparing anything.
Our content is built to stay accurate
Specific prices, package names, and contract lengths are pulled from live data, not written into static copy months ago. When deals change, the page changes. When a provider leaves the market, our content adapts. Anything we write should still be useful six months from now.
