Mobile deal data is fetched live from our data platform each time you search or filter, so listings reflect the latest information networks have supplied. Prices and offers can change and may occasionally differ on the network's own website; the network's checkout price is the one that applies. Coverage and speeds vary by network and location, so check Ofcom's mobile coverage checker before you switch. We compare deals from a significant share of the UK market, but no comparison site covers every deal from every network. See how we compare for the networks we include and how results are ranked.
The Doro Aurora A30 is an easy-to-use touchscreen phone built with simplicity and support in mind, which makes it a strong pick for older users or anyone who wants a fuss-free Android. It has a 6.1-inch screen, a 50MP dual camera and 5G, from £11.95 a month.
Key takeaways
Key features
The Doro Aurora A30 is aimed at people who want a smartphone without the clutter. Its simplified user interface keeps the home screen clear and the buttons large, which helps if small icons or busy menus put you off other phones. It is a good first smartphone, a sensible upgrade from a basic handset, and a reassuring choice for older relatives who want video calls, messaging and a camera without a steep learning curve.
The 6.1-inch touchscreen is a comfortable size for one-handed use and easy reading. The 50MP dual rear camera takes clear everyday photos of family, pets and days out, and the 5MP front camera handles video calls and selfies. You do not get flagship camera tricks here, but for sharing snaps with family and keeping in touch face to face, it covers what most people actually need.
The Doro Aurora A30 runs Android 14 with Doro's simplified layer on top, so the basics stay front and centre. It handles calls, messaging, photos and apps without fuss. The 5000 mAh battery comfortably lasts a full day for most users, which matters if charging every night is easy to forget. At 207 g it has a solid, steady feel in the hand.
The Doro Aurora A30 comes with 128GB of storage, which is plenty for photos, apps and a few downloads. There is no memory card slot, so you cannot add space later, but most people will not run out. If you take a lot of photos, using free cloud backup keeps the phone tidy and your memories safe.

Every successful switch through Switchity plants two trees through our verified reforestation partner, Ecologi. A mature tree takes up about 22 kg of CO₂ a year, according to the European Environment Agency. Once grown, the 450 trees our switchers have funded could absorb around 9,900 kg of CO₂ a year.
Pay-monthly Doro Aurora A30 deals start from £11.95 a month. The exact price depends on your data allowance, contract length and any upfront cost. Compare the live deals above and sort by effective monthly cost to see the true average across the whole contract.
Yes. The Doro Aurora A30 runs a simplified user interface with a clear layout and large buttons, designed to be easy to learn. That makes it a good fit for older users or anyone moving up from a basic phone who wants smartphone features without the complexity.
Yes, the Doro Aurora A30 supports 5G. Where there is 5G coverage you get the fastest available mobile data, and elsewhere the phone falls back to 4G automatically. For video calls, browsing and messaging, either works well.
The Doro Aurora A30 comes with 128GB of storage. There is no memory card slot, so you cannot add more later. For most people 128GB is plenty for apps and photos, and cloud backup helps if you take a lot of pictures.
A contract spreads the handset cost over the term and bundles your data. Buying SIM-free and adding a SIM-only plan is often cheaper overall and more flexible, but you pay for the phone upfront. Compare the total cost of both before you decide.
Refurbished Doro Aurora A30 deals appear in the comparison when networks stock them. A refurbished handset costs less than new and is tested and graded, though availability varies. Use the deal filters above to see what is currently available.
