Mobile deal data is fetched live from our data platform each time you search or filter, so listings reflect the latest information networks have supplied. Prices and offers can change and may occasionally differ on the network's own website; the network's checkout price is the one that applies. Coverage and speeds vary by network and location, so check Ofcom's mobile coverage checker before you switch. We compare deals from a significant share of the UK market, but no comparison site covers every deal from every network. See how we compare for the networks we include and how results are ranked.
Launched on 7 April 2026, the Samsung Galaxy A57 is the newest mid-ranger in this line, arriving on Android 16 with Google Gemini and starting at 256GB. It keeps the 6.7-inch display and 5000 mAh battery. Pay-monthly deals start from £11.00 a month, each shown with its full price-rise schedule.

Key features
Compare deals on effective monthly cost rather than the headline rate. A low monthly with a large upfront fee can quietly cost more than a flat deal across the term, and that single figure exposes it. Choose a data allowance that fits your real usage, not the biggest bundle going, and a contract length you are content to keep. If you have a phone you still like, a SIM-only plan is generally the cheaper option.
The 6.7-inch display offers ample space for video, games and reading wherever you are. Photos come from a triple rear camera with a 50MP main sensor, while the 12MP front camera handles selfies and video calls. The standout addition is Google Gemini, which assists with quick edits and on-screen tasks alongside Samsung's photo processing. For everyday shots in good light, results are clean and reliable.
As the newest model here, the A57 starts on Android 16, giving it the longest update runway of the bunch. Everyday apps, streaming and light gaming run smoothly. The headline figure is the weight: at 179 grams it is noticeably lighter than its siblings, which makes a real difference over a long day. The 5000 mAh battery backs that up with comfortable all-day stamina for most users.
The Galaxy A56 is the previous model, running Android 15 and starting at 128GB. The A57 moves to Android 16, leads with 256GB storage and is lighter at 179 grams against the A56's 198. Both share the 6.7-inch screen and 5000 mAh battery. Choose the A57 for newer software, a lighter body and more base storage; drop to the A56 if its deal is clearly cheaper.
The A57 starts at 256GB, so storage is unlikely to be a worry for most people, with plenty of room for photos, apps, video and downloads. There is no memory-card slot, so 256GB is what you have, but it is a generous starting point for a phone at this level.

Every successful switch through Switchity plants two trees through our verified reforestation partner, Ecologi. A mature tree takes up about 22 kg of CO₂ a year, according to the European Environment Agency. Once grown, the 450 trees our switchers have funded could absorb around 9,900 kg of CO₂ a year.
Pay-monthly Galaxy A57 deals start from £11.00 a month. The price depends on your data allowance, contract length and any upfront fee. Compare the live deals above and sort by effective monthly cost to see the true average across the whole contract.
Yes. The Galaxy A57 supports 5G on UK networks, so you get faster downloads and smoother streaming where coverage reaches. Where there is no 5G mast nearby, your data falls back to 4G automatically.
The Galaxy A57 starts at 256GB, the most base storage in this group. There is no memory-card slot, but 256GB is a generous amount for photos, apps, video and downloads on a phone at this level.
The A57 is newer, runs Android 16, weighs less and starts at 256GB. The Galaxy A56 runs Android 15 and starts at 128GB. Pick the A57 for the newer, lighter package, or the A56 if its deal is clearly cheaper.
A contract spreads the handset cost over the term and bundles your data into one bill. Buying SIM-free and adding a SIM-only plan is often cheaper overall and more flexible, but you pay for the phone upfront. Compare the total cost of both before deciding.
Refurbished Galaxy A57 deals appear here when networks stock them. A refurbished handset costs less than new and is tested and graded, though availability varies. Use the deal filters above to see what is currently on offer.
