Mobile deal data is fetched live from our data platform each time you search or filter, so listings reflect the latest information networks have supplied. Prices and offers can change and may occasionally differ on the network's own website; the network's checkout price is the one that applies. Coverage and speeds vary by network and location, so check Ofcom's mobile coverage checker before you switch. We compare deals from a significant share of the UK market, but no comparison site covers every deal from every network. See how we compare for the networks we include and how results are ranked.
The Honor Magic 8 Lite is the value model in the Magic 8 line. It keeps a roomy 6.79-inch display and a 108MP main camera, adds a huge 7500 mAh battery, and trims the price by dropping the dearer flagship extras. Deals start from £13.00 a month.

Key features
The whole point of a value phone is keeping the running cost sensible, so the deal you pick matters. Do not stop at the monthly figure: a low rate with a chunky upfront fee can cost more across the term, so rank deals by effective monthly cost to compare fairly. Pick a data allowance that fits how you really use your phone rather than the biggest on offer. If you already have a handset you are happy with, a SIM-free Magic 8 Lite plus a SIM-only plan can be cheaper still.
The 6.79-inch screen is the largest in the Magic 8 pairing, which makes it good for video, browsing and games at this price. The 108MP main camera captures plenty of detail in good light and handles everyday shots well, backed by a 5MP secondary lens for extra framing. The 16MP selfie camera is fine for video calls and social photos. You give up the higher-end camera hardware of the flagship, but for most people the results are more than good enough.
The Magic 8 Lite is tuned for value, so it handles daily apps, messaging, streaming and light gaming comfortably rather than chasing flagship benchmarks. The headline here is the 7500 mAh battery, the biggest of any phone in this group, which can stretch well beyond a single day for many people and into a second day with lighter use. It runs Android 15 out of the box and, at 189g, is the lightest of the Magic 8 phones to carry.
Step up to the Honor Magic 8 Pro and you gain a 200MP main camera, a sharper 50MP selfie lens and newer Android 16 software, at a higher price. The Lite holds onto a large screen and actually offers a bigger 7500 mAh battery than the Pro. Choose the Pro if the camera is your priority. For most people who want a big-screen phone that lasts and costs less, the Lite is the smarter buy.
The Magic 8 Lite comes with 512GB and no smaller variant, which is generous for a value phone and covers apps, photos and offline downloads with ease. There is no memory-card slot, so you cannot add to it later, but 512GB is large enough that most people will never feel boxed in.

Our verdict
The Honor Magic 8 Lite is the value pick of the Magic 8 line: a big screen and a class-leading battery for less, as long as you do not need the Pro's top-tier camera.

Every successful switch through Switchity plants two trees through our verified reforestation partner, Ecologi. A mature tree takes up about 22 kg of CO₂ a year, according to the European Environment Agency. Once grown, the 450 trees our switchers have funded could absorb around 9,900 kg of CO₂ a year.
Pay-monthly Honor Magic 8 Lite deals start from £13.00 a month. The figure depends on your data allowance, contract length and any upfront cost. Compare the live deals above and sort by effective monthly cost to see the true average across the whole contract rather than the headline rate.
Yes. The Magic 8 Lite supports 5G on UK networks, so you get faster downloads and smoother streaming where 5G coverage reaches. When you move outside a 5G area the phone automatically falls back to 4G, so your data keeps working without a break.
The Magic 8 Lite has 512GB of built-in storage and no memory-card slot. That is a lot of space for a value phone, so most people will have room to spare for apps, photos and downloads, but the storage cannot be expanded later.
Choose the Magic 8 Lite for a big screen and an even larger battery for less. Step up to the Honor Magic 8 Pro only if you want the 200MP camera, the sharper selfie lens and newer software, and are happy to pay more for them.
A contract spreads the handset cost over the term and bundles your data into one bill. Buying SIM-free and adding a SIM-only plan is often cheaper overall and easier to change, but you pay for the phone upfront. Compare the total cost of both before deciding.
Refurbished Magic 8 Lite deals show up in the comparison when networks have stock. A refurbished handset is tested and graded, and costs less than buying new, though availability comes and goes. Use the filters above to see what is in stock right now.
