Mobile deal data is fetched live from our data platform each time you search or filter, so listings reflect the latest information networks have supplied. Prices and offers can change and may occasionally differ on the network's own website; the network's checkout price is the one that applies. Coverage and speeds vary by network and location, so check Ofcom's mobile coverage checker before you switch. We compare deals from a significant share of the UK market, but no comparison site covers every deal from every network. See how we compare for the networks we include and how results are ranked.
The Honor Magic 8 Pro is the range-topping flagship, built around a 6.71-inch display and a triple rear camera headlined by a 200MP main sensor. A 6270 mAh battery and 50MP selfie lens round it off. If you want Honor's best photography, this is it. Deals start from £29.99 a month.
Key takeaways
Key features
A flagship like this rewards a little care at checkout. The headline monthly figure rarely tells the full story once you add an upfront fee, so rank deals by effective monthly cost to see the real total across the contract. Choose a data allowance that matches your actual use rather than the largest bundle, and settle on a contract length you are content to keep. If your current phone is still going strong, pairing a SIM-free Magic 8 Pro with a SIM-only plan can often be the cheaper option over time.
The 6.71-inch screen is large, crisp and well suited to films, games and photo editing. The camera is the headline act: a 200MP main sensor captures huge detail in good light and gives plenty of room to crop, backed by two further 50MP lenses for wider scenes and extra reach. The 50MP selfie camera is unusually high-resolution, so front-facing shots and video calls look sharp. This is the camera you buy the Magic 8 Pro for.
As the premium model, the Magic 8 Pro takes demanding games, multitasking and heavy camera work in its stride. The 6270 mAh battery is large for a flagship and should see most people through a full day with charge left over, even with the bright screen working hard. It launches on Android 16, the newest software here, which points to a long stretch of updates ahead. Face ID handles secure unlocking alongside the usual options.
The Honor Magic 8 Lite is the cheaper member of the line. It has a 108MP main camera, a larger 6.79-inch screen and an even bigger 7500 mAh battery, but it gives up the 200MP sensor and the higher-resolution selfie lens. Day to day both handle the basics well. Choose the Pro if photography is your priority and you want the best camera; the Lite covers most people for less.
The Magic 8 Pro comes with 512GB and no other size. With a 200MP camera producing large files, that headroom is genuinely useful for photos, apps and offline media. There is no memory-card slot, so the built-in amount is all you get, but 512GB should keep most people clear of the limit.

Our verdict
The Honor Magic 8 Pro earns its premium for the camera above all, so buy it if photography drives your choice, and consider the cheaper Lite if it does not.

Every successful switch through Switchity plants two trees through our verified reforestation partner, Ecologi. A mature tree takes up about 22 kg of CO₂ a year, according to the European Environment Agency. Once grown, the 450 trees our switchers have funded could absorb around 9,900 kg of CO₂ a year.
Pay-monthly Honor Magic 8 Pro deals start from £29.99 a month. The price depends on your data allowance, contract length and any upfront cost. Compare the live deals above and sort by effective monthly cost to see the true average across the whole contract rather than the headline rate.
Yes. The Magic 8 Pro supports 5G on UK networks, so you get the fastest available downloads and smoother streaming where 5G coverage exists. Outside 5G areas the phone automatically falls back to 4G, so your data keeps working as you move around.
The Magic 8 Pro has 512GB of built-in storage and no memory-card slot. With a 200MP camera creating large files, that space is handy, and it is enough for most people, but you cannot expand it after purchase.
Buy the Magic 8 Pro for the 200MP camera and the sharper 50MP selfie lens. The Honor Magic 8 Lite drops to a 108MP camera but adds a larger screen and bigger battery for less, so it suits most people who do not need the top camera.
A contract spreads the handset cost across the term and bundles your data into one bill. Buying SIM-free and adding a SIM-only plan is often cheaper overall and more flexible, but you pay for the phone upfront. Compare the total cost of both before you decide.
Refurbished Magic 8 Pro deals appear in the comparison when networks stock them. A refurbished handset is tested and graded, and costs less than new, though availability varies. Use the filters above to see what is currently available.
