Mobile network complaints by provider

Ofcom's quarterly complaints per 100,000 pay-monthly customers, with Ofcom's own note on which networks are statistically comparable, its satisfaction research, dated customer-review scores and the dispute scheme each network belongs to.

2 per 100,000

Complaints to Ofcom per 100,000 pay-monthly mobile customers

Ofcom treats providers within one complaint of each other as comparable; its grouping is shown with the table.

  • EE (aggregrate of T-Mobile, Orange & 4GEE)1
  • Giffgaff1
  • iD Mobile1
  • Tesco Mobile1
  • Vodafone1
  • O22
  • Three UK2
  • Industry average2
  • Sky Mobile3

For Q2 2026, the actual measurable difference between the following pay-monthly mobile providers' number of complaints per 100,000 customers was less than one and so their figures should be considered comparable: 1. Giffgaff, Tesco Mobile, EE, Vodafone, iD Mobile, Industry Average and Three; 2. iD Mobile, Industry Average, Three and O2; 3. O2 and Sky Mobile.

Methodology

Official figures

Taken as published. We name the release, the period it covers and when the next one is due. We never re-estimate a regulator’s number. Where we compute from a publisher’s table, the method says so.

Panel figures

A snapshot of our live comparison feed on the snapshot date, with the same filters, exclusions and effective-cost formula as the comparison itself. See how we compare.

Comparability

Ofcom’s comparability groups apply to Ofcom’s data. We name a single best or worst only where the gap is one Ofcom calls meaningful. Nothing on this page depends on what a provider pays us.

The four networks.Ofcom’s coverage data reports EE, O2, Three and Vodafone separately, because the merged VodafoneThree still ran two networks when the January 2026 data was measured. Where a card says “all four”, it means the four networks Ofcom measures.
