Compare Apple iPhone 16 Deals

The real cost comes down to the monthly price plus any upfront fee, so sort by effective monthly cost to compare deals like for like. A low headline monthly with a big upfront charge can work out dearer overall than a flat deal. Match your data allowance to what you actually use rather than the largest bundle going, and pick a contract length you are happy to see out. If you already own a phone you are content with, a SIM-only plan tends to be cheaper than a fresh handset contract.

The 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display is sharp and easy to read for photos, video and day-to-day scrolling. The 48MP main camera takes good shots in daylight and copes reasonably once the light drops. The 12MP front camera handles selfies and video calls without fuss. There is no telephoto zoom lens, so distant subjects rely on digital crop rather than optical reach.

The A18 chip runs daily apps, browsing and most games comfortably, and it is recent enough to keep getting iOS updates for a good while yet. The 3,561 mAh battery sees most people through a full day, though heavier users may want a top-up by the evening. It ships with iOS 18 and supports 5G.

The iPhone 17 Pro adds a telephoto zoom camera and more storage to choose from, and it sits at a higher price. For most everyday tasks the two feel close, because the standard 16 already covers calls, photos, streaming and games well. Stick with the iPhone 16 unless you specifically want the extra camera reach, in which case the Pro is the one to look at.

The iPhone 16 comes with 128GB, which is enough for most people who keep photos in the cloud and download apps as they go. If you store a lot of video, music or games on the device itself, bear in mind there is no memory-card slot to add space later, so plan around the 128GB you have.
