Newport and Carisbrooke are covered by WightFibre throughout, with Openreach fibre on some streets but not others, so the choice of providers varies by road even in the county town. Ventnor, Godshill and Wroxall in the south and Freshwater, Totland and Yarmouth in the west are on WightFibre with patchier Openreach fibre. The only real gaps are the farming interior around Calbourne and Shalfleet and the downs above Brighstone and Chale.
