New Town and Old Town have excellent fibre coverage from Openreach and Virgin Media, though CityFibre's independent network is less widespread in the historic centre. Craigmillar and Niddrie show patchier FTTP availability compared to other areas, though coverage is improving and CityFibre has built infrastructure in parts of Craigmillar. Cramond and rural fringes may have fewer fibre options available, with some properties relying on older copper connections.
