Broadband deals in Baguley East & Wythenshawe Park

Ofcom's latest figures are about as good as urban coverage gets: 98.8% gigabit-capable, 99.4% superfast, 7 points clear of the Manchester average. One caveat deserves stating plainly. 24 premises here still cannot get 10Mbps, a small pocket but a real one, though wireless options keep every address above the legal minimum.

The choice is the bigger story. Cable, full fibre, part-fibre and both hub types were all selling at our last local check, 167 deals in all, with YouFibre advertising the fastest line in the city at 7 Gbps. The surrounding areas are nearly as strong, from Northern Moor at 98.8% to Newall Green at 97.8%, so this is a well-built corner of south Manchester rather than a lucky postcode.

When every network wants your house, the sensible approach is to make them compete. Run the postcode check, shortlist a speed tier you will actually use, and compare what each deal costs across its whole contract, including any mid-term rises. The infrastructure has done its part here; the saving comes from choosing well.
